Full investment: Applicants who choose this option must invest at least $1.2 million in government-guaranteed investments held for five years. Upon expiration, the guaranteed amount (without interest) will be returned to the investor in full. The project offers full investment options or financing through authorized financing institutions. Global Immigration Advisory Services Ltd. Investments is a financial institution officially recognized by the Quebec Immigration Authority (MIDI) and the Quebec Government Investment Agency (IQ).
Financing Investment: Under this investment option, the investor only has to pay a portion of the capital to finance a 62 month closed loan worth $1.2 million from a chartered bank. There are no additional costs for the initiation and repayment of the loan, and no additional guarantees are required from the applicant.
Requirements for naturalization
Investors and their dependants who have lived in Canada for 3 years (1095 days, a total of 4 years) prior to applying for citizenship are eligible to apply for citizenship if they have some command of English and/or French, have no criminal record, understand the rights and obligations of citizenship, and are familiar with Canadian history, values, institutions, and symbols.
