Italy Golden Visa
Launched in 2017, the Italian Golden Visa, also known as the "Italian Investor Visa", allows third-country nationals (non-EU/EEA and non-Swiss) to obtain a residence permit in exchange for an investment in the country's economy. The Italian Investor Visa is valid for two years and can be renewed for three years. Permanent residency is available 5 years after the initial application is initiated. Italy has been a member of the European Union since 1958 and a member of the Schengen Area since 1997.
